My First 5K!
I finally did it! I ran my first 5K! My mom and I participated in the annual UVU 5K last Saturday at the UVU Heber Extension. It was so exciting to have accomplished this huge goal for myself. My mom and I worked really hard and focused a lot of our time on getting ourselves ready.
This was right after the run. I am a sweaty mess. No, we did not coordinate our clothes with each other. Although, NIKE might be calling us to do an ad for them.

Oh how fun!! I keep begging Brent to do one with me and he won't...so we will have to do one together sometime!! I think it would be so fun!!
That's awesome Paula! I would love to accomplish this same goal...one of these days when I get back into shape. Wait, was I really ever in shape? Ok, back to before I had my kids. That's what I meant! Good job--you deserve a huge pat on the back. :)
Nike totally should call you two. You are both so cute. I'm really proud of you guys for doing this. It's awesome that you set a goal and did it. I'm good at setting the goals, not so good with the follow through.
