We left last Thursday for Omaha. When we landed at 3:00pm it was 1 degree. We literally about died from the cold. It was the coldest I've ever been! We were able to relax for a little bit and drive around in the great state of Nebraska before heading to the concert. We were really lucky because the airport, our hotel and the Qwest Center were very close together. The Qwest Center was gorgeous and huge.
The concert was AMAZING! It honestly was the best concert that I have ever been to (sorry Linkin Park). They put on such an amazing show! Angus is definitely the man! You can't find too many 60 year old men playing the guitar with one hand while calling on the crowd with the other hand, run around a stage for 2 1/2 hours and still have time for a strip show. The ringing in the ears and migraine after were definitely well worth it for that.
It's so nice to be able to go on trips with Zach and spend time together. We always have so much fun together. I feel so lucky to be able to have these memories and fun experiences.
